Coquitlam Pest Control Service

Coquitlam Pest ControlDespite its suburban areas, Coquitlam still has the feeling of the “Great Outdoors” thanks to its many parks and trails. Nestled at the base of mountains, adjacent to the river, Coquitlam’s geography not only entices humans but also is also very appealing to Mother Nature’s furry and feathered offspring.

Arguably, a peak in downtown residential development, additional urban amenities and sprawling suburbia trigger more encounters between humans and wildlife. Rely on Atlas experts to resolve all manner of issues relating to wildlife and pest control, whether it is for residential, commercial or industrial purposes.

Did You Know? In 2009, the Department of Canadian Heritage appointed Coquitlam as the Cultural Capital of Canada.

Vector Control Report

Coquitlam Pest Control

If you require a report from a Vector Control Company we can help. New requirements placed on obtaining a demolition permit require a licensed company to certify that there are no Vectors present on the property.

We have years of experience in many municipalities conducting demolition specific reports. We are fully licensed, insured, and a member of the Better Business Bureau among other associations.

Atlas frequently preforms Vector Control Report: inspections, treatments, and if required, follow up visits to ensure accordance with City By-laws and permit acquisitions. Vector Control Reports are now needed for Demolitions of structures such as multi-unit residences, detached homes, garages and commercial businesses.

What are the vectors?

A vector is any insect or arthropod, rodent, or other animals of public health significance capable of harbouring or transmitting the causative agents of disease (e.g., plague, malaria) to humans. Under exceptional circumstances, insects or other arthropods that cause human discomfort or injury (no disease) are sometimes referred to as vectors.

What is abatement?

Abatement is the acts required to reduce, alleviate and ultimately terminate the issue at hand from being a threat.

What is classified as a rodent?

Rodents are animals that gnaw with two continuously growing incisors. 40% of mammal species are rodents. Those typically encountered in this process are Mice, Rats and Squirrels.
